Our Story
A Moon You Can Spot From the Street
In Greenwich Village, where brick façades guard their histories carefully, Moon & Back announces itself with confidence and charm.
The front space glows in a saturated yellow that curves seamlessly from wall to ceiling, creating the sensation of stepping into a moon rather than entering a restaurant. The fluted panels ripple like Thai handcrafted terracotta tiles, while furniture are in vibrant, eclectic forms.
Even before a menu appears, the message is clear: this is Thai food with volume, attitude, and flavor you can feel.
At the bar, gold-leaf finishes and bas-relief cloud motifs—borrowed from traditional Thai temple murals adding a ceremonial note. It feels familiar yet theatrical, like a memory polished by distance.
